Our tradition of yearly photos continues! Photos were taken on her birthday, but posting late. Here’s an update on Huntlie, who is now 8 years old already!
Huntlie had a “ruff” year of change lol We had to move out of our home and temporarily moved to Michigan City, Indiana. She had a new yard, a new bed, new people, new walk destinations, new smells, new environment, and a new house!
She did so well moving to a new home temporarily, but it was hard on her too. I noticed she has grown gray whiskers now. Poor girl. She still has all her energy and doesnt even need her Carprophin for her torn ACLs. She runs and jumps all over. We have an old couch outside in the back yard and she flies over it all the time when she plays with Kobe.
She loves having people around her all the time, along with her best dog buddy, Kobe. Before, she would have to be home alone for at least 9 hours a day.
We will be moving back to Michigan in an apartment within the next couple months so she will have some more changes coming soon. I think she will like the new place though. As along as I’m there and she has a place to sleep and play.
She has been more of a cuddler lately. I work 8 hrs shifts at Costco, then have hour drives to and from work, so I’m gone at least 10hrs a day, 6 days a week. She always brings me a toy at the door once I get home. She’s so cute!
She’s has started doing something annoying, but kinda helpful. She barks at you if she needs water, asks for food, or needs something. She is very verbal and communicative. She doesn’t bark for no reason. Its helpful to know if she needs something so I can give it to her, but annoying when I can’t figure out what she is trying to tell me lol She has the cutest barks though.
